NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES - the largest and most beloved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world - returns to New York City's IRVING PLAZA on May 13 for its twenty-sixth annual edition. This marathon evening is produced by show founders CHI CHI VALENTI and JOHNNY DYNELL and their creative krewe at THE JACKIE FACTORY. NOTS is one of those great New York City spectacles that spark travel from all around the globe. The producers promise something Very GODDESS NYX meets GODDESS NICKS for the event's first FRIDAY THE 13TH date - expect lots of that black witchy glamour Stevie fans crave!
NOTS 26: DARK DAUGHTERS will highlight new and recently emerging talent at the tambourine-mad spectacle - The "Dark Daughters" of Steviespace. It is the perfect counterpoint to last year's edition, which marked the show at a quarter-century, and celebrated its storied history, performers and great moments. The 2016 bill is now complete and includes show icons like songbird AMBER MARTIN, NOTS 26 cover model LADY ZOMBIE, POISON EVE and DARLINDA JUST DARLINDA, SWEETIE,
VANGELINE THEATER, FX by master puppeteer BASIL TWIST, DIVINE GRACE, THE RACHEL KLEIN THEATER, DARRELL THORNE and MACHINE DAZZLE. Also returning are recently debuted favorites BRIDGET BARKAN, IT WAS ROMANCE, MARYANNE PICCOLO, SEVERELY MAME and WHAT TIME IS IT MR. FOX? (Massachusetts.)
In addition, after a rigorous two-month selection process, the Jackie Factory is delighted to announce this year's SIX debuts. Three are "Enchanted Gypsies" from other cities: San Francisco Legend of Stevie Realness CLAUDETTE RODRIGUES of FLEETWOOD MASK, Chicago's silver-throated JEFFERY STEPHAN and Denver's LORI "BELLA" CLAYTON, producer of the annual SISTERS OF THE MOON festival in that city. The queer country band KAREN AND THE SORROWS (founders of Brooklyn's GAY OLD OPRY) and THE HONEY TRAP - a hard-driving NYC band fronted by the impressive JESSICA RENDON - also make their debuts at NOTS 26.
